I need a bit of help with some text regarding RDBF.

Some of you guys might have seen this site before:

I have been inspired a bit by that site, and decided to create my own version (and with less grammatic-errors! Wink

).

My version is called KAGU's playground, and I was re-writing a text about RDBF. But I could use some help, getting the story straight. To see the text, go to KAGU's playground, and click on RDBF.
The text marked with red, is a part that confuses me.
But you guys are welcome to comment on the hole site, and come with suggestions.

it's nice of you to make an other website but first I think you should contact Jordi because he started already a website. maybe you could do it together?

Soon after, the clan became bigger and also outside the company people want to join, and it was decided to adopt a new name. This was the Royal Dutch Bird Force

the clan started( june 24 2007) with a group of collegeas of the same company. after a while people from outside the company wanted to join the clan. that was oke and at that point it was decided to get an other name then ICN8E and so it became NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC BIRD CLAN and all the members should have a birdname from that day. after a while they did not really like that name and then the changed it to ROYAL DUTCH BIRD FORCE.

But no offense, the website http://royaldutchbirdforce.tk/ is made the old-school-way (when it comes to the codes), which is why I started coding from scratch Smile

If Jordi wants to, I would like to show him the codes, and explain how to edit it Smile

The code-languages used on the site are these:
html, css, php, java/ajaxscript.

These are my tools:
Notepad++ (code editor)
EasyPHP (servertool)
Gimp (image editing)

I'm not an expert in creating websites. All I can is self-taught, and I wouldn't mind teaching what I know.

So the clan started as ICN8E (company colleagues - what does it stand for?), then NGBC (outside the company), ad the RDBF (as the clan grew bigger).

they were co-workers at the same company, icn8e means the department where they were working together.

ICN8E stands for:

Industrial Centre Nijmegen 8 inch Shift E.
Its a company where we make microchips.

It's started with 6 people who worked in this shift.
with these people we make the clan, and people started to join.
From these 6 people only 3 of them where seriously, 2 people stopped playing and one stepped out off the clan and was playing for his own. From that 3 serious people is only one left and thats me. the other 2 started DCF. That we became birds is because i had already a bird name and one other colleage also took a bird name.
Within 2 weeks al 6 colleage's had a birdname and during the coffiebreak on work we made the name National Geographic Bird Clan.
After we got our own server we changed it to Royal Dutch Bird Force.
And still today we are life and kicking. Hooah.

Jordi. How much do you know about html- and css-code? - tags like; <html><body><head><title><div> and css like:
body {
width: 100px;
height:100px;
color: red;
background: green;
border: 0px;
}

If you can learn the use of those you are pretty much able to edit all content of a website.

Example of a very simple website:

This text will be visible, and be colored red!
 
 This text will be visible, and colored green. Also it will be just below the first line of text WITHOUT space between, because of the br-tag (it's like "enter")
This text is placed below the 2nd line of text, and WITH space between, because of the "p"-tag. This text won't be a specific color, because I didn't use a colorcommand in any surrounding tags!

</html>

Won't be a problem finding something to add on the website. HTML is in general used for layout.

And something else. Could people try registering to the website (even though it's not 100% ready)?
- I have created a login-system, and a shoutbox that you one can write in if logged in. Would be nice to see if any1 else could use it.
- And if you find some bugs on the site, then fell free to add them in one of the shoutboxes.
The one with login is in the test-page atm (aliies page).

I have changed the login system on the page. Those who registered earlier will have to register again.

The new features:
- Admin panel
- See who is online
- Changing email and password is possible

Have been working on the PHP Fusion site.
My idear with the PHP fusion site, is that it is easy to handle, easy to update, there are experts behind the source-code and there is a lot of themes.

A second think is the infusions. There is an infusion called zWAR, which is created to contain information about played and upcoming matches, which will be useful, if we join some leagues.
